Google Chrome screen draw

Still testing Google Chrome. First gripe: I don't think the screen draw or the font rendering is a nice as IE. It all looks a bit to sparse and doesn't add enough weight to the page. What do you think?

  1. Hey,

Do you have ClearType turned on? Try this in IE 7: http://www.microsoft.com/typography/cleartype/tuner/step1.aspx
Set the preferences to match your needs then try reloading Google Chrome and navigate to your homepage. You should get much better looking results this time.

I've already set up Google Chrome as my default browser when I am not at work. It is fast, doesn't hammer on my precious PC resources and did I mention it is extremely fast?
On the other hand, when I am doing some web development related stuff, I like the conform of having Firebug sitting quietly in the bottom right corner on my window.
